The Hazards of Love, é o 5º album de estúdio dos The Decemberists. É pena que a banda seja pouco conhecida. Para muitos foi escolhido com um dos álbuns do ano. E convém assinalar que a Pitchfork tem classificado os albuns antecessores na casa dos 8 (escala 0 a 10), ou seja, valores constantes e de boas referências.
